Workshop Agenda and Outline


Objective: During this five-hour workshop, teachers will learn the basics of creating, uploading, and sharing files through Google Docs. Teachers will collaboratively create a technology-based lesson plan using Google Docs. By the end of this workshop, all participants should realize how valuable and easy it is to incorporate technology in the classroom using Google Docs and should be excited and motivated to incorporate its use regularly.

Participants will locate a graphic organizer or template using Google Docs.

Demonstration Lecture – Teachers will upload documents, share documents, and email access to others.

Teachers will work in groups of 3on creating a lesson plan using Google Docs. They will develop a way for students to use technology effectively to enhance content learning.
